"You just have to do it" is the correct answer, additional knowledge is rarely helpful. Anecdotally i've found that the more I'm consistently exercising and moving, the healthier I'm also eating because my identity feels more aligned with being an overall healthy person

Simplicity is key. The more complex your diet rules and rituals - the more likely it is you fail to follow them

Biggest thing for me was to eat less. Depending on your current calorie consumption and composition, Iโ€™ve noticed less high-quality food goes much further than lots of low-quality food. Cooking skills also help make the high-quality food taste good, cause letโ€™s be honest lots of it is quite bland on its own ๐Ÿซฃ

Keep in mind that the decision is between a few seconds of mouth pleasure and your whole body feeling good all the time

Read the labels of stuff you eat including groceries, for example some places ketchup has added sugars, and literally tastes the same. I avoid juices as I rather eat desserts that drink sugar

This will sound redundant, but just eat real foods. Eliminate anything from a box, bag or package. Most of your food should be found on the outskirts of the grocery store, not the middle.

Most people know what needs to be done. You just have to do it. Most tips are 100% just common sense stuff. We like BudgetBytes recipes since theyre cheap and usually easy to prepare.
