Increasingly, I don’t think web3 is the next iteration of the web that will replace web2, but rather a fork that will run in parallel. Not a strong opinion yet but something I can’t shake. Also not sure how I feel about it if true. Thoughts?

Not instantly but yes, I think web3 eventually swallowing web2. Mass retirement by boomers and increased use of automation and AI tools are gonna put most people out of business, as a result people are going to need to be able to capitalize wherever they can which web3 will make a lot easier.

I’d say that most successful web3 companies and business models will probably have to adopt the “sufficiently decentralized” stance that Farcaster has assumed.
