I'm fascinated by NFC after using a NFC room key (attached to a stylish beaded bracelet) at our resort in Mexico. Another one of those technologies that I think is wildly under-utilized. 

Plenty of design space for founders.

Also, as a general observation, a lot of people have this arbitrary delineation between technology streams (hardware, AI, crypto, etc.). 

In my estimation, the most interesting products & companies live at the intersection of two or more of them.
