hard truths:

1. crypto isn’t growing, in fact it’s more cringe than ever because of the new admin embracing it / $trump

2. it’s not realistic to generate a full-time sustainable income on farcaster, $degen and $higher were anomaly wealth events

3. majority of the world doesn’t think in terms of markets 24/7

This thread reminds me of a great conversation had at MISIPASTA.

We (@fffflood, @samuellhuber.eth, @iz, other great folks who I don't know their fname – tag 'em!) were talking about the assertion that "crypto needs to grow".

One hard question: "do we really?"

TradFi isn't trying to bring new users onto Bloomberg.

For the record, I think we *do* need to grow. 
But I don't think that financialization is the primary value prop.
