RFK's position on anti-imperialism and focus on chronic disease make him a compelling candidate to me I know a lot of people think his ideas are wack but not even sure this matters, the issues a president focuses on and their directional stances are what matters, technocrats can and will ultimately decide what to do

don't have an hour — can you explain your rationale? and then why Trump and / or Kamala are?

RFK is an anti-vaxxer which led to a few thousand deaths in Samoa, in my POV because of his actions and the Kennedy name amplifying it. This doesn’t pass my filter for ”should I vote for this person“, before even looking at history of sexual abuse and campaign promises. https://www.factcheck.org/2023/08/scicheck-factchecking-robert-f-kennedy-jr/

I appreciate the response, sad to learn of the measles out break, and respect your stance fwiw I wish he put less emphasis on vaccines and more environmental factors but also from my pov there have been millions deaths from chronic disease in America and hundreds of thousands of lives from foreign wars under Harris / Trump watch this is what I meant by the specific policies being less important than turning the focus to highest leverage areas when the complex process of public and private response play out the specific policy preference of the prez isn't the higher order bit it's the issues they've decided need addressing
