i honestly love using and building v2 frames

the devx (and ux) of v1 frames was truly ghastly and it probably doesn't matter much, but associating what we're calling v2 frames with v1 in any way feels like an insult to v2

anyway, i'm really excited about the frame we're about to launch

they both let devs reach users within farcaster clients

frames v1 we're clever and people loved the simplicity, there are a fair number of devs who still prefer them even

but yes in terms of what's possible they are worlds apart

the utility was clear! i built and used a bunch

hair-pulling experience on both ends tho, and there is some risk that less active users will take longer to understand that v2 is worlds apart because of the vestigial name association
