2. First and Second Punic Wars
3. The Peloponnesian War, The Syracusian Expedition 
4. The Gaelic Wars
5. The Meiji Restoration, subsequent reform of Tokugawa Shogunate into Meiji Era Modernized

The Third Punic Wars requires more than 30 minutes alone to get started on

It said 30 minutes no prep

Herodotus was more entertaining than expected, even if I couldn't keep the geography straight while reading. Personally really like The Lessons of History.

Some that come to mind otherwise:

Secondary sources: Gibbons, Tom Holland, Adrian Goldsworthy
 
Primary sources: Suetonius, Appian, Thucydides, Herodotus, Xenophon, Etc etc
