True story, I consciously chose not to work in zk opting for decentralized identity instead. My thinking I’m still confident is correct

While it’s largely semantics, I don’t think success rate for “decentralized identity” projects will be any higher than “zk” projects Users want holes, not drills

I mean ive been saying ZK is in a bubble for a long time now. ZK requires verifiable data to be useful. There's very little such data. 1. Blockchains 2. Emails 3. JWTs 4. Passports 5. ??????

realistically even a user who can understand the implications of what either term has to offer largely dismisses with the "but we need buy in from those who are least willing to give it" in terms of the overall semantics, users don't want holes or drills, they want the end result of their house and not have to worry that it has leaks or that people can break in.
