plenty of public figures that have shown even a bit of inclination towards trump or conservative values is lambasted by an army of online trolls that seemingly have too much time

hence fear of showing support, in case of undue backlash

yes that's definitely the reason ppl aren't supporting a criminal

i don't think any politician isn't guilty of being a criminal or at the very least knowledgable of some shady behaviour
