Friday is going to be quite the day on Farcaster. I’m excited to see so many of my community members who’ve been labeled as spam have a shot at being seen. I wish you all the best of visibility in channels. I’m also excited that everyone will get to see the true spam problem on Farcaster. How does it work? Is this change good, or does it decrease user interest in Farcaster? I don't know what perspective they are looking from, I just hope this is something good and right to do by Farcaster.

Yes, it is good for a channel to limit spam and bots, but what about users who can't afford to buy FT or join a channel membership. If all channels implement membership, then members will be less than before, because not everyone can afford to join all the channels they currently follow. What do you think about this?

Anyone can make a competitor channel with free membership or invite everyone (included spammers). There are over 13,000 channels on Farcaster. People will find their tribe or make a new one.

I just try to see from the perspective of people who want to join some channels to express themselves, but can't afford to pay (FT or membership), Yeah, it's still 'your channel, your rules'. Hope this brings positive changes to all groups (rich and poor users) 😊 555 $DEGEN
