Yes, we are building a killer app for enterprises on Ethereum. That's not a meme coin Not yet another DeFi app It's Dexes, a Web3 backbone for business processes ๐Ÿš€

Yesterday, I have been asked "Why building with Ethereum?" At first, I have answered with the common answers "L2, smol gas, ecosystem , blah blah blah" Well, after a good night of sleep, I believe I have a better answer Truth is lots of other blockchains can do the trick because our use cases use really basic features: All that is needed is a decentralized ledger which can record data and raise events/logs which can be retrieved later. Then why Ethereum? Ethereum is still there despite all the problems and scandals which have hit the blockchain/crypto industry. The fine engineers who have contributed to the ecosystem are still there. This will be precious because my whole project is about convincing companies that they can and should use a public blockchain as a reliable, durable, censorship-resistant and efficient cornerstone to connect their IT systems to support and automate critical business processes which require to collaborate with other companies. Time will tell, I hope 2025 will prove me right

Because a. We need a solution that is known to a large group of users, dev and companies. This will ease the adoption. b. We need to be able to send and record small to medium sized payloads as we propose both off-chain and on-chain storage for the encrypted documents (this is what disqualifies Solana) c. We need a global notification system. Ethereum logs is the perfect fit for our use cases. d. We have cheap gas thanks to L2. e. We need to have access to on-chain DeFi products to automate the management of our revenues and ETH has deep liquidity.

One of the reasons why we want to use Ethereum as a backbone for business processes is because our European authorities want to force us to only use their centralized solution, PEPPOL, as the only network to exchange electronic invoices. Doing this is basically giving the EU authorities the right to kill any EU company at any time because once you are kicked out of the only network you are allowed to use to send and receive electronic invoices, you basically have to close your company: you cannot send any invoice to get any income and your suppliers will drop you because they cannot send you an invoice and get paid. Our politicians did not think about that when they passed bills to force the use of electronic invoicing in EU using that PEPPOL network. That's why we build DEXES. We have learnt from SWIFT. We need a decentralized solution to exchange business documents and further the automation of business processes in a safe, reliable and durable way.

Sorry /ethereum, you are our target for our daily streak but we have a good excuse: We are building a real product on ethereum. That product is Dexes. One of its use case aims to provide a better and safer alternative to the European network for electronic invoices (PEPPOL) all EU companies will have to use by 2026.

Has anyone else thrown away all those obscure and undocumented Typescript libs to just use Go + solc + geth to build smart contracts and integration toolkits? ๐Ÿ™ƒ

Time to bring some businesses on-chain. It will start by replacing the European Peppol Network by a Ethereum powered solution ๐Ÿ‘Œ

We're building a killer app on Ethereum for businesses worldwide. Starting with electronic invoicing, we're set to replace the European Peppol network with a cost-effective, blockchain-based solution โ€” more resilient, auditable, and secure. This is just the beginning, Dexes will support lots of other use cases ๐Ÿ˜

Hey ๐Ÿ‘‹ After several years working remotely, I have started a project named "Dexes" which aims to build a "Web3 backbone" to allow ERPs, SaaS and AI agents to exchange documents needed for various critical business processes in a safe, auditable, reliable and efficient way. Based in EU ๐Ÿ‡ช๐Ÿ‡บ

Not an expert in that field but isn't it what @optimism tries to achieve with the Superchain?
