So I’m starting to see the dark side of the quote cast meta. Quote casts are powerful ways to get the attention of the OG caster, but only when used to add to the conversation and try to get more eyes on it. 

When it’s used to ask a question to the original caster instead of replying to them and asking directly, it feels gross and I don’t like it. What is the point of this? It feels like shallow engagement bait rather than adding to the conversation. I hope this is not the new trend. Most will ignore it.

We should be QCing to add our own words to what the OG cast already said but people will literally qc me a question to my post and expect me to answer lol (i will soon start blocking people fr😭)

Its gotten really really annoying and although i do qc a lot i always make sure to reply as well to keep the original conversation going and my qc is usually just me affirming the OG cast or adding my thoughts.
