Thanks for making my first week co-hosting the /books channel a welcoming one! So far, Iāve mostly been watching and thinking. Iām curiousāthis channel is already pretty great for book recommendations. What other bookish things would we like to happen here?

The book has always been a place of reunification. No matter how much we vilify tech, AI, virtual modernity, etc., the book remains, in whatever form, in whatever era, a place that brings people together and sparks conversation. Thank you for this wonderful initiative! I'll be coming here often š š„
