I have a dream of @converseapp or *something* on @xmtp to get to the point where it can challenge and overtake Slack. Until then, Element.io has been getting a lot cleaner. Definitely not quite there yet though.

I actually think the monetization mechanics in Discord would play really nice with a Web3/XMTP client.
