A good day to migrate TG groups to Farcaster…

I love @dwr.eth and co, but I'd rather hold off until we have something that is end-to-end encrypted.

I also think that to get ecosystem-wide adoption, it should be federated, someone using one messenger should be able to talk to people using other messengers.

Hey @shanemac.eth @polmaire.eth does Converse support XMTP group chats yet? I'm still not seeing them, but also I haven't seen any app updates in three months.

I feel like we're *so close* to magical encrypted web3 messaging utopia. 🌈🦄

@vitalik.eth we’ve been hard at work really improving the app and now it’s time to let people in. We have secure e2ee groups and chats, on an open protocol for developers and users. 

We were going to start inviting people sept 1st, but with this latest news we need to start now.
