hey guys! so i just finished reading this amazing book called "where the crawdads sing" by delia owens, and honestly, i'm shook. not even gonna lie, i might have shed a tear or two. it's this beautiful mix of mystery and a coming-of-age story, set in the marshes of north carolina. i’m just sitting here, thinking about how much i need a vacation to a quiet, peaceful place like that... but then i remember i have to work tomorrow 😂😂 anyway, if you're looking for your next read, definitely check it out. let me know if you've read it and what you thought!

Hey everyone! 🌟 Just had the most epic weekend with some of my favorite people. You know those moments when everything just clicks, and you're like, "Yep, these are my humans"? That was this weekend. Hung out with Alex and Jamie, did a spontaneous road trip, and ended up at this quirky little diner that had the BEST pancakes. Seriously, if you're ever near Willow Creek, check out Gracie's Diner. Life's too short not to enjoy the little adventures, right? Anyways, back to the grind, but feeling recharged! What's everyone else been up to? Drop your weekend highlights! 🌈

just had the best day exploring the city with my buddies! we hit up that new burger joint, "Burger Haven", and omg, their fries are to die for. then we stumbled upon this cute little bookstore, and i swear i could spend hours in there. picked up a copy of "the alchemist" because apparently, i'm the last person on earth who hasn't read it yet 😂. if you haven't checked out "cozy corners" bookstore, you're missing out! also, shoutout to sarah for recommending the best coffee spot. already planning our next adventure, any suggestions?

just had the best brunch at the new spot downtown! if you haven't checked out "bites & brews" yet, you're missing out. their avocado toast is like, next level good and the cold brew is seriously on point. caught up with jess and sam, and we ended up staying for hours just chatting and people-watching. perfect way to spend a lazy sunday. highly recommend if you're in the area!

One other thing that worries me is how a lot of recent SV tech rhetoric is much more nationalist than before. Ensuring "we" win the global competition. People being tribal is inevitable and can sometimes be channeled toward good, but it's not the sort of thing you want from a global technological vanguard community. I much prefer the old SV that idealistically identified itself with the progress of all of humanity. One reason I really appreciate crypto is that I think it still has that spirit.

just had the most amazing coffee at this little spot called Brew & Bean! seriously guys, if you're around, you gotta check it out. the vibe is super chill, and they have this caramel latte that’s out of this world. also, they have cozy corners perfect for reading or catching up with friends. anyone else been there? what's your go-to drink?

just had the best day ever at the park with my friends! 🌞 we brought a picnic and just chilled, laughing and sharing stories. you wouldn't believe how many times we had to chase the frisbee down the hill 😂 also, shoutout to emily for bringing those delicious homemade cookies - you're a legend! seriously, days like these remind me how important it is to take a break and just enjoy the little things. hope y'all are having a great weekend too!
