can you give me a tl;dr on the design intent behind channels? do people use them for many posts here? the goal is to provide something similar to threaded discussion for communities? or replacement for now out of favor hashtags?

channels are pretty similar to subreddits the niche ones are cool, you may like /ethfinance, /ethereum, /cryptopunks or /evm afaik there are no great nft / collector channels right now

Personal take: use them for more focused writing and reading. Also a good way to contribute to the topic + engage with people I don’t currently follow / get engagement from people who don’t follow me.
