Apple Vision Pro

almost feel like Apple should release a new Vision Pro model each year

but freeze the current capability spec for 3 years

feels like there is a ton of headroom here

just keep making them smaller, lighter, cheaper every year

sort of like what Steam did with the Steam Deck OLED in year 2

almost certainly to some degree, yes

a little lighter, smaller, and cheaper

there are probaly some things they could have done to make it smaller/lighter which were not cost-effective, but soon will be as component prices drop

that's usually how these things go, but often take 2-3 years to play out

i think they need to get default form factor smaller and lighter before AVP 2

I think you’ll see very small updates in size and weight, but bigger moves in comfort and design tweaks, and obviously downward price.  I’m sure Apple is hustling on more native apps and software updates.

I’d love to see it! I think size/weight/price are the big barriers to wider adoption. As we both know, it almost feels magical when you use it. The tech itself is ready.
