you’d need to sit 2.6 ft away from a 65 inch TV in order to perceive the difference between 8K and 4K resolution but the TV industry will try hard AF to make it happen anyway because they want you to buy a new TV…

not to mention the majority of content you watch on it will be 720-1080p because no one is gonna pay $50/month for whatever netflix plan actually includes 8k
