i enjoy the community here (as i do the niche subreddit world) but i much prefer the reddit response/vote format vs the twitter reply/like format, but i realize i am in the minority here.

building the financial infrastructure to support crypto products at Coinbase

seems interesting but i’m a mobile first user, so prefer an app, and it also doesn’t seem to handle replies to replies

i think just having upvotes (or even using the likes) to surface content could work. i agree that downvotes are sometimes (maybe even often) misused, but do find them to generally add value, especially in the more community focused subs (not the front page stuff)

Me too, but downvotes are misused on Reddit. 

Maybe we could do away with down votes and go full crypto native with quadratic up votes.
