how are we not just building mac pros into new homes and the entire home runs off one server? am i crazy? this makes sense right? intead of IoT we have IoH?

Tell me more. Actually, if someone can afford to hire an av subcontractor, that’s pretty much how it goes—a sever rack rather than a Mac Pro, but still. It’s really the aftermarket consumer who has to retrofit a wireless system with an infinite number of things over their domicile and lose hair when the router can’t find light switch #14. But yeah, why does it need to be so damn complicated?
