Their predictions about the future of channels 😻

Where do we go from here? What happens? What do channels replace? 

What do they do that other mediums can’t (or won’t)?

This one is tough

A stab at some ideas:

- more creators will see the opportunity to truly own a distribution channel and onboard to FC for it

- an alt client will become the leader in channel discovery

- companies will (poorly) design airdrops around channel follows and activity

- the most successful channel of next year hasnt been created yet

Someone this week said “temporal popup channels” and suggested a 2024 election channel. Im pretty sure the next most successful channel will be short lived, super active, and hyper contextual. 

My question is how we archive a channel in the library of congress.

The potential for disruption in content distribution is huge with FC, but the future remains uncertain.
