For sure. I'm really talking about in-system risk though, just mechanistic things like loan-to-value, borrow demand, etc. I can definitely see a UI that's *too* friendly, put on top of a protocol with weak underpinnings, being a major problem.

this is a good question and I’d be interested to see the examples mentioned.

that said, a good part of what makes a given defi protocol safe is a combination of their TVL and time since deploy without exploit (basically lindyness) which is hard to convey in a UI vs. something like counterparty risk.

I think @gauntlet does this quite well, though their publicly available dashboards are for other DeFi protocols not their own.
