Proposal 536 (nouns fungible token) didn't pass, but we're releasing the code for anyone to use or modify. We also deployed the factory contract to sepolia & mainnet (addresses in the README). The code is pretty simple, but hasn't been audited.

The fungible token — $nouns —  is a thing I believe should exist and can do much good for the growth of our world. I picked up where others left off and submitted a PR to OP. 

We can now bridge $nouns to Base and have fun with it :)

But their is still a way to make them votable with updating the nouns contracts correct?

this contract is not upgradeable afaik

in my mind i treat it more like uniswap v1, 2, 3..

we might see a $nouns v2 with gov ability at some point but would have to deal w that when we get there

This contract is no longer upgradeable. If there’s a future contract with voting abilities we would need to redeem the Nouns in $nouns and deposit them into a new contract.
