Moxiesplaining Journal Day 18: Public Service Announcement

PSA to the Moxie community:

Please do not (implicitly or explicitly) judge, shame, or otherwise pressure Members who don’t change their Fan Token split percentages from the default 20% to give most or all of their earnings to their Fan Token holders. 

It's good to have that option. But not everyone is in a position to give away as much Moxie as they’d like to.

What if they’re cash-strapped because the value they create has been misappropriated by extractive platforms for years?

What if they’re tending to their own basic needs so they can free up time and attention for work that benefits the FC network?

With Fan Token holdings, earnings are indirect, and they may not want to sell to realize gains. Everyday Rewards earned are available to claim the next day, if needed.

Today I’m up early to take my kid to tour her new school and work out a plan.  My child is autistic and has an IEP, and this is always a bit nerve wracking so wish us luck!

I was diagnosed as diabetic nearly 20 years ago and struggled to regulate even with medication.

Two years ago I started an intensive journey to manage my health better.  It’s still a work in progress - I need to add more exercise, which will help my dopamine too.

But two years has definitely made a difference.  And I’m no longer insulin dependent!

I know so sad 😩

I have a list.  I have to talk to DHS at 11 so on a waiting loop.  Upload my article, and I am gonna go for a hike somewhere later for the dopamine!  

When are we ghosting hunting???

My coffee today is a protein shake version of vanilla caramel apple.  I don’t like it, which is sad cuz I love caramel apples but the coffee is sweet in a weird chemical way.
