Friends help friends earn with nominations! Anyone can now enable anyone else to earn in a round by nominating them. Simply post "I nominate @friend" along with why the should earn into a channel running a round for them to be eligible to earn through your cast.

I like the "I nominate" phrasing but maybe another way to write it could be something like "credit:" since sometimes I'll want to share stuff in /nouns from other proliferators but it's not really like I'm nominating them for more funding but I feel weird receiving a bonus for sharing what they did

understood the wording part, will think about it. can you clarify the "receiving bonus" part? nomination means 100% of rewards is funneled to the nominee

by "receiving a bonus" I meant that if I'm sharing content from other people in /nouns these days I sort of feel like I'm "stealing" their potential to earn on it via engagement

Im not following. Nomination enables you to post someone else’s content so that they can earn because of it, not you.

I'm saying I wouldn't want to write "I nominate" in /nouns but I would want to write something else like "credit:" since it feels more appropriate in the context of that channel As it stands sometimes I don't post other peoples content in /nouns because I don't want to take their opportunity to earn from the channel round

some other ideas: - make it so that you can to reply to your own cast w something like “/rounds opt out” to not receive rewards - make it so that quote casts by default give the rewards to the account being quoted instead of the caster, w a setting for the caster to change to themselves in the rounds ui
