why i wish there were more curated design resources out there: this design has 5k views on dribbble, 150+ likes, and 20+ comments all saying how awesome it is anyone notice something insanely wrong with this design?

This hurts my brain. The UI defeats the purpose of the app by itself. Where are the chill color palette and harmonious shapes?
