Know what content you don't want to create.

For me, it's video. I don't enjoy video - either watching it, or making it. And if I put energy into that format, you'd be able to tell. You'd know my heart wasn't in it. 

I'm all about the written and spoken word. That's my lane. That's enough.

Video is my bread and butter. Shorts and long form. Although I have written in the past it’s not something I enjoy nowadays. Used to be part of a poetry collective

Me too! Although I am dabbling in video on YT.

Writing's enjoyable and comes from within whereas I find video is the outer me, if that makes sense.

I would probably choose writing over making videos, although I enjoy watching video content. The worst thing is probably having the desire and understanding which format of content you want to create, but having no ideas regarding the content itself. XD

I don't enjoy making videos, but my camera is better at videos than photos (m4/3), so sometimes I'm forced to do what I suck at. However, I do get some "wow" clips sometimes that would definitely not work as still shots.

What I'm saying is that some things you don't enjoy doing are worth exploring - sometimes :)
