This is probably the single best thing I've read on the fluoride debate https://undark.org/2024/03/06/fluoride-drinking-water/ Fluoride is absolutely harmful in large doses, but it's unclear that the levels present in the US water supply are as neurotoxic as critics would have you believe. However: "Most of those studies look at fluoride exposures higher than 1.5 mg/L — in other words, more than double the levels founds in most Americans’ drinking water. Bucher stressed that the report is not — and was never intended to be — an evaluation of the safety of adding fluoride to water. “We don’t have enough data to make any statement with any certainty about it at the lower levels,” he said.
