On a whim, I watched this 18-minute TED talk this morning, based on the recommendation of my friend @foxwizard. Wasn't expecting to be so quickly moved to tears by her courage.

The world needs more humans like this one. Why? Well, I'll just quote the eloquent @foxwizard (see the comments for a link to his Museletter):

"This is an act of infinite play; Carol is in service to the infinite game—no matter the cost to herself. She has all of my respect."

I actually just watched her TED talk for a second time, and found it even more compelling. 

I downloaded the video for future viewing. I'll watch it again whenever I need to, and also share with everyone who'll listen.

Glad she mentioned the importance of donating to the Internet Archive/Wayback Machine. Back in the days when I had disposable income, I gave them a lot (for me, anyway) of money. Wish I could give them more.
