Thanks for reading. I can't help but envy Christians sometimes, because being part of a mainstream religion makes it so much easier to find a church. 

Given that Mormonism is a pretty conservative denomination, I doubt they'd appreciate a drop-in visit from someone with my goddess-worshiping and feminist inclinations.

Probably the most frustrating thing for me is that I haven't even seen much progress in three decades, and there's literally nowhere else for me to go to practice my religion the way I want.

Excellent piece @danicaswanson. I can *so* relate. I had considered going to an Episopalian retreat run by nuns in the Metro Detroit area many years ago but couldn't bring myself to do it due to previous experience. I hope we help to break through the anti-prayer, anti-devotion rhetoric in Pagan spaces.
