Here's a podcast interview (45 min) for fans of Jenny Odell's book "How To Do Nothing." Love this intro: "In this conversation, we talk about the importance of activities that can’t be optimized — listening to another person, taking care of ourselves, contemplating a new idea — and why truly taking time to pay attention to the little things is an act of resistance." https://hurryslowly.co/jenny-odell/

I read the Medium article linked. Such a gem! 🩵 Loved the #NOMO - necessity of missing out. It's a sibling of $ROBTL - relief of being too late.

Yes. That article is worth a re-share in this channel on its own. I especially love the concept of "architecture of nothing" - i.e., not necessarily minimalism, but architecture as structure specifically designed to hold contemplative space. The world needs more of that! I love NOMO too, and JOMO - joy of missing out.

Contemplative space architecture 💯 I spent last week with friends starting the build of a labyrinth very much inspired by this one featured in the article.
