Ok, pitching a new cult: We want to be into spacefaring, human survival and all that, BUT We also give a shit about the wellbeing and general qualia of the life that we spread. "Build a civilization worth spreading". Prioritizes rational thought, efficiency, all that, but also respect, boundaries, agreements.

Maybe it's just transhumanism. But do these new fasco-rationalists not identify as transhumanist? They just see themselves as rulers as the correct trans-formation? I feel like something about the consensuality of inter-agent relations could be emphasized more.

There's definitely a (at least perceived) lean towards authoritarianism within some people who identify as transhumanist, but I don't think the philosophy itself does. There might be a line to draw between an implementation of transhumanism that emphasize individual freedom/consent and one that tries to push everyone towards their thought leaders' vision I'm curious to know what groups you see as new fasco-rationalists?
