Based on the news of Pavel’s arrest today I took the time to visit his Telegram channel. His writing history in the channel displays a clarity of thinking and commitment to transparency that is admirable. Here is his most recent post from August 14th. Hopefully it is not the last one ever.

Durov was arrested by French authorities on multiple charges, including complicity in drug trafficking. fraud, and other serious crimes. The arrest occurred at a Paris airport as Durov disembarked from a private jet, with French law enforcement stating that the arrest was due to his alleged involvement in these criminal activities and his refusal to cooperate with law enforcement Yet more news was shared about involvment of hackers who stole gigabytes of sensitive Israeli data have been publishing the classified information on TELEGRAM. Telegram refused Israel's request to censor them.
