Bread making advice needed :)

I’ve been learning how to bake bread with yeast this year. Often I find that my bread turns out quite dense instead of chewy and soft (see the sandwich bread photo below). Does anyone have any advice on how to improve homemade bread’s texture? 

Any tips and/or beginner friendly bread recipes would be much appreciated! :)

hi guys, I woke up today and my bread was already ready, the smell was amazing.
sharing a super simple bread recipe for your bread machine. no fancy stuff!
ingredients:
•  warm water: 320 ml
•  oil: 2 tbsp
•  salt: 1.5 tsp
•  eugar: 1 tbsp
•  flour: 500 g
•  dry yeast: 1.5 tsp
instructions:
1. put everything in the bread machine in this order: water, oil, salt, sugar, flour, then yeast (don't let the yeast touch the water at first).
2. choose the "basic" or "white bread" setting.
3. press "start"! wait about 3-4 hours.
4. take it out, let it cool a bit, and eat!
tips:
•  add herbs, spices, or seeds for extra flavor!
important: don't add too much salt!
enjoy your bread!
