It's nauseating hearing the supporters of the man who has never in his life tempered his own rhetoric, incited a riot that he did almost nothing in his power to stop, never condemned , and promised to pardon the rioters, as well as ruthlessly mocked and spread conspiracy theories about Paul Pelosi who suffered much worse than he did, try to make this about Biden and his rhetoric. No one listening to Biden would ever believe he thinks extra judicial violence is acceptable, that's absolutely not true for Trump. As Nancy Pelosi herself stated immediately yesterday "Political violence of any kind has no place in our society".

I don’t think Biden’s statement of putting Trump in the bullseye had anything to do with the shooting. But do think the narrative that Trump is Hitler probably did. But we’ll never know. 500 $degen

Two important caveats. 1) No leader in the Democratic party was making the claim that "Trump is Hitler", that was largely a comparison driven by social/alternative media figures, and 2) With his actions, rhetoric, and stuff like this, it's not a farfetched comparison https://www.nbcnews.com/politics/2024-election/trump-shares-video-unified-reich-social-media-rcna153214

It was his new VP's last election. He called Trump "America's Hitler". Now he is a convert and VP nominee? Once again, politicians compromise what they claim to stand for for wealth and power. The guy probably shot at Trump because someone needed to. If he is elected, it will be the last election. He likely war-gamed all this with Putin, a pro at staying in office past his constitutional term.
