I just can't hit zone 2. I'm a HM training program. Ran 7km today, easy run at 5.30/km as prescribed. Very little effort. I would have expected a different breakdown. Don't want to obsess over hitting zone 2, but either A) my Garmin is not accurate, B) my baseline BPM is significantly higher and should keep an eye out

Do you use a chest strap? OHRM on wrist is usually delayed and not so precise

Thanks. No chest strap. Just got one. Will compare vs. prior reads to see if that was the issue

For biking for example when I do HIIT with 3 intervals, garmin recognizes load 30-40 through OHRM. With chest strap at same effort is like 70-90. Means better recognises anaerobic workout for me
