$COIN or $BTC? If you had a windfall and could only invest in one, which would it be? I think I'd go with $BTC, but it'd be some thinking for sure

Depending on the time horizon but maybe $COIN if you believe it is a beta play on the entirety of the crypto market. Hard to see $BTC 10xing without $COIN accruing a lot of the transaction volume AND you also get the diversification kicker if other tokens moon.

agree - although to what extent is BTC a proxy for the entirety of the crypto market? Maybe that's just my cynicism talking? :)

I might have worded it incorrectly. Not a proxy. As BTC grows, so does the crypto market right? My point about COIN is that you get the upside (of increased transaction volume) if BTC grows AND also if the token dominance changes (increased transaction volume from other tokens)
