i know we all gave up on voice thanks to a decade of siri but it can be great ux for ex: compare the cognitive load using self checkout vs ordering from a human the latter is far easier – declarative and direct, zero eye hand coordination or ui to understand “double cheese with fries; pay with card” <— clean

how do you use it inside? My number one use is walking and talking to gpt atm, 5-35m a day.

I walk for ~1h a day so if I have something on my mind I’ll open voice mode. Common themes: - review something I just learned, ask it to probe with questions - sharpen a take, ask it to scrutinize or play the other side - work thru decisions, ask to ask questions - talking more about some podcast topic Examples - let’s review section 2 of Andrew ngs ml course, you’re andrew and I want to recall my learnings, ask questions or clarify only - let’s talk about low latency voice streaming, goal is to optimize a pipeline - I have 2 opportunities and want to weigh the pros cons - im curious about pricing, tiers vs usage Looking at my history I think I over spoke with everyday. There are stretches, like now, where im in decision mode and talking daily, or 6mo during automod where I was doing the same cause there was lots to unpack and work thru. Likely 3x a week.
