One insult I’ve seen spreading lately is “over educated”, usually in reference to someone saying a more mainstream viewpoint in the face of a less well known/contrarian/esoteric/based viewpoint Ie “That over educated bitch of a doctor thinks seed oils don’t hurt you”

What does the term "over-educated" imply?

I've only heard it as a pejorative in conjunction with the belief that higher education is liberal establishment brainwashing. So usually they are saying you don't think for yourself and just absorb/regurgitate propaganda and don't pursue the "real" knowledge they typically source from the output of divisive social media algorithms.
