So yesterday the SEC filed a cease and desist against @shapeshift barring it from operating in the U.S. THEN Commissioner Hester Pierce wrote a satirical screenplay showcasing the utter absurdity of the SEC's position. I'm so here for this.

This would be hilarious except that the SEC's criminal ambiguity is causing real harm to real people -- consumers get no guidance on what they need to report; builders get no guidance on what they can build. Everybody loses. Needs to change!!
