PSA: If someone is doing work for you, you pay them or do the work yourself. I don't care what age they are. Period. I hope I don't see another instance of unpaid interns in the farcaster ecosystem. We go through enough shit in this industry. Don't fuck it up.

This is a huge issue and thanks for calling it out. I have seen huge names on this platform grossly underpay professionals. You’d be shocked how many people expect people w decades of experience to work for free bc they have a large audience. Ive stopped referring ppl in the space bc of it. And I say NO. Alot.

yep same! especially the saying no a lot and I haven't felt confident about or comfortable referring anyone in a long while

The No is key. I learned it the hard way as a freelance photog/producer. I eventually stopped that work bc the market was saturated w/ppl who say Yes to slave wages to build a portfolio & that collective behavior gutted my whole industry. Super common w creative work. But surprised its the norm now in web3.
