A little bit surprised with the lack of chatter on FC about the $pengu airdrop.

It is remarkable because of the breadth and size. 

They rewarded a lot of “OG Ethereum user” activity.

Never having collected a PudgyPenguin, it was still one of the larger airdrops I’ve ever received, mainly for degen/DeFi activity in the last cycle. 

While we in crypto are “early”, I’m generally not an early adopter, nor a farmer, nor a whale. 

So, money falling from the sky was nice 💸🤌

And long live the airdrop!

I was a bit perplexed by what constitued an OG ethereum user (my addresses have been active since 2017 but I wasn't eligible)

Maybe I'm not enough of a degenerate

I'm not exactly sure what the criteria was but my Ethereum address is older than my Solana address and I got the airdrop as an OG Solana user 🤷

Yeah I couldn’t understand their criteria either. I’ve had an older solana address but didn’t do any degen/defi activity with it, so no airdrop there. 

While older eth addresses with substantial nft activity (all losing positions btw 😆) got allocation.

It seemed the older eth + degen activity was the sweet spot
