Every night, my Uncle, who lives alone, and will no longer accept visitors, even his own family, sends me, and only me, a picture from Bing, or somewhere, to show me that he is still alive. It’s upsetting. So, I am going to share it with you, every night, to get rid of the morbid anxiety that I feel waiting for a day when I don’t get an update, and I have to call emergency services. I ask how he is occasionally, and he occasionally responds. But, he has outright stated he isn’t ready to see anyone. It’s been almost 6 years since I have seen him in person. It sucks, tbh

wow. Did something happen before he made this decision?

His mother, my grandmother, passed away. He lived with her for years, so he took it hard. Then the store he worked at shut down, so he had no more reason to go out.
