Every night, my Uncle, who lives alone, and will no longer accept visitors, even his own family, sends me, and only me, a picture from Bing, or somewhere, to show me that he is still alive. It’s upsetting. So, I am going to share it with you, every night, to get rid of the morbid anxiety that I feel waiting for a day when I don’t get an update, and I have to call emergency services. He’s 40 minutes away. He won’t let anyone in the house. Last time I tried was after I got out of the hospital. I told him I was sitting on his porch until he let me in, and that’s how I got the text message deal. So I would leave. I miss him a lot, and I know my kids would love him. I think he’s a bariatric, and is embarrassed 😞

Oh man, that has to be stressful. Sounds like he needs an intervention. Do you or your family live nearby?

I ask how he is occasionally, and he occasionally responds. But, he has outright stated he isn’t ready to see anyone. It’s been almost 6 years since I have seen him in person. It sucks, tbh

aww. Sending you love and hugs. You checking in would most likely mean a lot to him than he lets on.
