Is anyone here actually building something with FHE? FHE contract chain doesn’t count since you’re still hoping someone builds something.

Maybe you can help me out...if FHE doesn't support branching, then how can you ever perform general-purpose computation?

I take it is like programming a zk circuit. You still have to do all the math but you can multiply by 1 or 0 to make it valid or not

That’s what I was thinking to, but you’ll run into issues when doing binary operations like zk. I need to look at Zama. I stopped looking at FHE past the BGV construction.

zama's tfhe-rs is super interesting, just wish it could compile to risc-v so I could experiment with putting it inside risc zero and melt my cpu

IIRC, lattices require 6MB keys… bigger than the L2 cache on most hardware.
