I wish our culture was better at honestly expressing our level of uncertainty, and being okay and encouraging of other people doing the same. Having widely-understood ways to say "based on what I know now, I think X, but this is a preliminary opinion and I am super-willing to adjust based on new arguments or evidence".

I get the loose/strongly held part. And I think I get what a strong opinion is. But what exactly would a week opinion mean?

Interested in ZK, FHE, PUFs, hardware, system design, ai safety, and smart contact security.

A weak opinion would be “I think there’s something that might be wrong with X”, versus “X has something wrong”
