Has anyone done a community airdrop with a lockup? If not, why is that?

Seems like it would solve a lot of problems. Even professional long term investors can’t keep their finger off the trigger w/o a lockup mechanism. Can’t expect airdrop recipients. 

Can combine immediately liquidity with a linear vest (eg every block to avoid cliffs impacting market price)

Wormhole allocated tokens to Mad Lads holders that vested monthly over a year. Worked well I think.

“Well” as in holders were happy they got the airdrop and were able to take profit?

Read that 20% of the airdrop was liquid at TGE and the other 80% this upcoming April. The chart looks awful, though maybe that’s not what they were optimizing for. Will be interesting to see if things reverse after April (like moxie saw after their initial rewards stopped)
