I unfollowed all the huge channels, they don't make sense to me anymore. People should just broadcast into the Main feed and have more thoughtful discussions in channels.

In most cases, I agree with this.

General topic channels don't work well in the new model. They were built an era of channels as hashtags.

There will be some exceptions, but will require a lot of work from the channel owner and moderators to make sure a large channel becomes and stays a community.

Agreed. I wanna cast about AI and my old casts in /ai got lots of engagement.

Now I go to cast, not a member so can't post, so just fallback to the main feed. And get low engagement. 🤷‍♂️

It's an odd adjustment period at the moment.

Like were my old casts getting views from people scanning the /ai channel? Maybe? 🤷‍♂️ Should I use another channel? Probably not. 

🤔 I guess I'll cast to main feed. Not many hits. 🫤 Shouting into the void.

Might just be the adjustment period but that's the mental journey atm.
