The reason crypto only speaks to such a small amount of people today is because you have to jump through so many hoops to even start using it. This naturally largely only invites speculation because in the absence of making money the hoops are not worth jumping though.

I have a feeling that soon, many more businesses, private and commercial will start accepting crypto for payment of goods and services. When this starts happening widely, it’s going to explode.

The easiest/safest onboarding method I’ve tried to use is persuading others to download Brave browser and open up a Gemini exchange account. You’re right, though, I always see how many hoops there are to jump through once I introduce crypto to someone who’s never experienced it before
